Drawings For The Mind

Often we need to wake up the mind, become more engaged in the world. It is after all what keeps us from falling off the edge of living. Giving yourself minimal creative restrictions and letting the mind wander can often lead to beautiful things, focus in on one aspect of making a thing, exploit it to its fullest potential, and experiment within that framework. I heard once that Picasso often gave himself the same gift of play, often painting in only one color.
